In January of 2006, Dave Williams launched D. Williams Construction Supply. After spending 20 years working in sales and service in the construction fastener industry, he noticed a lack of locally owned construction supply companies in Northern Michigan. He had spent several years growing working relationships with the builders and contractors in the area, and felt he knew best what product they needed, how to service and repair their tools and how to get their product to them. To this day our company continues to sell and deliver product directly to the job site. This is what makes our company unique. This feature to our services eliminates the interruption in the customer’s work day to shop around for product and allows for a “no hassle to restock product” experience. Our customers have demanding schedules and deadlines to meet, the last thing needed is to be forced to stop mid-project to make a supply run or shop around after work hours. In addition, we are often able to foresee shortage and estimate when the customer will run low on product.

January 2016 brought about the opening of our retail space. We have a large selection of tool and supply items at or Barlow St. shop. Being centrally located in Traverse City creates another quick and easy avenue for picking up supplies or dropping off a tool to be repaired.
